Designed in response to how furniture is constructed and strengthened through joints, Tidied Up aims to demonstrate a balance between total strength and comfort. The oak frame is constructed of recycled table legs with polypropylene rope streched and knotted to pull the joints in the legs together. Stainless steel eyelets form a user friendly way of constructing custom webbings for the underside of the chair where shoes are stored.
The narrative is based upon the strength gained from tying a shoe lace.
